Reliability in a containerised diesel generator set is built long before the unit reaches site. It comes from the manufacturer's factories, quality systems, testing, engine partnerships and track record. MPMC Powertech Corp., founded in 2008 in Shanghai and the first Chinese diesel generator set manufacturer listed on the NEEQ (stock code 832266), has built each of these credentials over seventeen years and delivered products to more than 120 countries and territories.

Certified Quality Systems and Product Approvals

MPMC operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality management, ISO 45001 occupational health and safety and ISO 14001 environmental management, with a CNAS-accredited testing centre at its Haimen facility. Products carry approvals that meet international procurement requirements across many regions, and CNAS-documented models comply with ISO 8528-5:2018, ISO 3046 and ISO 12944 and meet CE conformity requirements for containerised and silent types.

These credentials give EPC contractors, utilities, rental companies and distributors a manufacturer whose documentation fits international tenders, from Middle East and African projects to Europe, Oceania and the Americas.

Three Manufacturing Bases

Haimen: High-End Customised Generator Sets

MPMC Powertech Jiangsu in Haimen runs a 22,000 m² smart factory with end-to-end CNC, fabrication and testing, and CRM, ERP, PLM, MES and OA systems. It specialises in high-end customised generator sets, including mining-specific models, continuous-operation power stations for diesel, biodiesel, natural gas and methanol, municipal rental units and cold chain sets.

Yangzhong and Fuan: Containerised and Standardised Lines

MPMC Energy Tech in Yangzhong, opened in 2025 with USD 27 million of investment, a 19,000 m² workshop and a 3,300 m² R&D centre, produces containerised diesel, gas and methanol generator sets alongside battery storage, located in an industrial base for switchgear, busbars and cable trays. Agen Powerclub in Fuan, Fujian, adds a 10,000 m² ISO 9001:2015 and CE-certified factory for standardised intelligent generator sets.

A Controlled Process From Steel to Shipment

Every MPMC set follows the same in-house process: laser cutting to a zero-burr standard, certified welding by operators who each hold a licence and complete 30 days of training, NDT magnetic-particle flaw detection and pressure testing on every chassis, sandblasting and C3, C4 or C5 anti-corrosion coating verified by 500 to 700 hours of salt-spray testing twice a year. Five power-section test rooms, including a 40°C or 50°C constant-temperature room, load-test each unit at 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% and 110%.

Electrical performance is verified to the same standard: steady-state frequency stability within ±0.25%, voltage regulation within ±1% and maximum operating ambient of 50°C with copper high-temperature radiator options. Super-silent SC containers achieve noise as low as 83.4 dB(A) at 1 m and 75% load on the MCLS1250 SC.

Engine Partnerships and Proven Projects

MPMC has been the largest G-OEM by volume in China for Perkins and Stamford in recent years and ranks among the top three for DCEC and Kubota. Its containerised units are delivered with Cummins, Perkins, MTU, Baudouin, Scania, SME, Volvo and SDEC engines and Stamford or Leroy-Somer alternators, and after-sales support draws on these brands' global service networks.

MPMC's containerised platform also extends beyond generator sets to battery energy storage, hybrid power stations and BCH mobile BESS chargers in the same standardised container formats, so customers can add storage or charging to their generation projects from the same manufacturer.
