Quiet Light for Urban Night Works

Road, rail and utility works are often scheduled at night to keep traffic moving, frequently near homes. HSL towers run silently with zero emissions at the point of use. Coverage ranges from 12,000 m² on the HSL-1000A, HSL-1000B and HSL-1500B to 24,100 m² on the HSL-2880B and HSL-3840B, at an average of 5 lux.

Efficient LED lamps of 100 W to 200 W each provide even illumination across the work area, and integrated solar panels from 1,170 W to 3,840 W recharge the batteries during the day, so towers are ready again each evening without any refuelling round.

Quick to Raise, Easy to Move

The HSL-1500B offers one-button automatic mast raising to 7.5 m, 355° horizontal rotation and 90° vertical head adjustment to eliminate dark spots, and its trailer chassis meets road safety standards for travel at 80 km/h, so crews can move lighting along a work zone as the job advances. Larger models use 9.0 m hydraulic masts.

Multi-Night Autonomy

Emergency sites need light that keeps going through cloudy spells. Battery capacities of 16.07 kWh on the HSL-1440B, HSL-1920B and HSL-2880B and 32.14 kWh on the HSL-3840B deliver run times of 20 to 40 hours, more than a full night's operation from a single charge.

LFP batteries on all models except the GEL-based HSL-1000A provide long cycle life for repeated deployments, and towers can be pre-positioned at depots ready to tow out when an incident occurs.

Unattended Operation With Remote Oversight

Optional 4G connectivity and CCTV let emergency coordinators monitor towers remotely and operate them unattended, while the camera adds site security for equipment and supplies left overnight.

Because no fuel is stored on the tower, units can be placed close to people, shelters and sensitive areas, and they can be left running at unmanned locations such as diversions, temporary access roads and staging areas.
